Statistical Multiparty Computation Based on Random Walks on Graphs

چکیده
With respect to a special class of access structures based on connectivity of graphs, we start from a linear secret sharing scheme and turn it into a secret sharing scheme with perfect security and exponentially small error probability by randomizing the reconstruction algorithm through random walks on graphs. It reduces the polynomial work space to logarithmic. Then we build the corresponding statistical multiparty computation protocol by using the secret sharing scheme. The results of this paper also imply the inherent connections and influences among secret sharing, randomized algorithms, and secure multiparty computation.

Exact computation for meeting times and infection times of random walks on graphs
We consider independent multiple random walks on graphs and study comparison results of meeting times and infection times between many conditions of the random walks by obtaining the exact density functions or expectations.

متن کاملProbabilistic Self-Stabilization and Biased Random Walks on Dynamic Graphs
A distributed system is said to be probabilistic self-stabilizing, if it eventually converges to a legitimate computation with probability 1, starting from any global configuration. Like a self-stabilizing system, a probabilistic self-stabilizing system tolerates any number of transient failures and recovers a legitimate computation, but only probabilistically, unlike a self-stabilizing system,...
متن کاملRandom Walks on Hypergraphs with Applications to Disease-Gene Prioritization
Typically, gene interaction networks are expressed as graphs, storing pairwise interactions between genes. Because of the vast amount of literature on statistical graph inference, this is a useful representation in practice. However, such a pairwise representation ignores more complex features of gene interactions, such as gene regulation and assembly. In this thesis, we propose a hypergraph mo...
متن کاملBounded Arboricity to Determine the Local Structure of Sparse Graphs
A known approach of detecting dense subgraphs (communities) in large sparse graphs involves first computing the probability vectors for short random walks on the graph, and then using these probability vectors to detect the communities, see Latapy and Pons [2005]. In this paper we focus on the first part of such an approach i.e. the computation of the probability vectors for the random walks, a...
